How Is YouTube TV?

The features and services of YouTube TV have made it stand out amongst its competitors. Their service, the video quality is equally good and powerful on each supported devices. Some of you complain regarding the poor service quality of the other TV streaming services when streamed on phones. But YouTube TV fixes that problem of yours by providing an equally good service on phones as well.

When you open the app, it will take you to the ‘Home’, where you can find recommendations of the shows that are on air and shows that are on demand. If you go to the ‘live’ section, you will find a guide-like interface which will show you what’s live!

Features

Let’s talk about the best feature it has, it is nothing but the cloud DVR. Many of the live streaming services do have the same feature but they restrict it with a time frame. But YouTube TV allows you to record your favorite shows in its cloud DVR for a longer span ( up to 9 months).

Another good feature is it allows six people to jointly share the service together and three can watch at the same time.  Which is more than enough for anybody out there!

Supported Devices

YouTube TV is accessible from limited devices. You can access it from Android TV devices, Fourth-generation Apple TV, Apple TV 4k, Chromecast. It is also accessible through Roku TV and media players. You can access it from LG, Samsung smart TVs which are manufactured 2016 onwards.  Apart from these, it is accessible from Vizio smart cast TV and Xbox models.

Due to a continuous feud between Amazon and Google, it is not supported on Amazon’s devices like Amazon Fire TV. It is also not supported on PlayStation Vue, PlayStation consoles, etc.

Our Review

YouTube TV is a simple live streaming service with a very clear user interface and good features.  With pretty much decent channel list like Hulu and convenient pricing, the service of YouTube TV is pretty good. Since it has a great interface for mobile users, so I find it pretty amazing as I like to watch content from my phone.  I have not faced any issues like buffering or sound quality. Overall it’s a pretty decent live TV streaming service go for.

They offer a 7 day free trial period. But the same is not available for the iOS users so if you want to have a trial before you finally subscribe, you may choose other supported devices.
